Polymer Racing Products introduces the worlds first carburetor spacer featuring Dimple Technology. Dyno testing of the Polymer Racing Products carburetor spacer with Dimple Technology have shown as much as 28Hp & 30ft-lb gain compared to a very popular four hole smooth tapered CNC machined aluminum spacer of same thickness. The increased performance is a result of dimples delaying laminar flow separation which results in drag reduction in the intake path. The delay in laminar flow separation is causes by a phenomenon know as boundary layer turbulence which acts like a suction. The polymer material is also 1000 times less thermally conductive than aluminum which means it acts like a thermal brake keeping the carburetor cool. This means cooler air flowing to the engine, which means more power.

The carb spacer also features a honeycomb internal structure allowing for a very rigid structure at half the weight of aluminum the spacers.
